I spent some time looking for this particular hymn sung to the tune of Edelweiss that I remembered hearing.
It took quite a bit of searching but I finally found the lyrics to this unique hymn, along with a few other church songs and blessings which can be sung using the popular Edelweiss tune.
If you are a fan of The Sound Of Music, then you will know that "Edelweiss" is a show tune from the 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. The original song is named after the edelweiss, a white flower found high in the Alps.
